Bah, why is it that brokers in every part of the business world are like used car salesmen? I was trying to help out a family member recently who was looking to charter a boat, rather a yacht, for his next family vacation. I didn't really know much about crewed yacht chartering, but I figured I could learn something about it on the internet. Low an behold there is an industry out there that takes care of finding and chartering yachts for people complete with crews and a captain. But, it was like pulling teeth getting any of them to call me back. Then I came across the Alameda Yacht Charers website. I was able to chat with someone instantly and passed them along to my uncle who ended up having the time of his life aboard a luxury sailboat in the Carribean. Clearly this is something that I need to do in the future...real soon.

Blades of Glory

I just saw one of the funniest Will Farrel movies in a long time. I am not really a huge fan of the whole exploit the SNL actor funny guy thing until nobody likes them anymore deal. But, the Blades of Glory movie was pretty hilarious, and the Bo Bice song is something I am really digging. So, if you get a chance to check out the movie, you will not be disappointed.
